MABC Professional Development Bursary Guidelines & Application Form

Magazine Association of BC members (including staff and volunteers at member publications) are eligible to apply for travel and tuition assistance to attend selected professional development events. Eligible events and application deadlines will be announced to the membership.  Download the bursary guidelines/application form as a Word document (can be completed electronically) or as a PDF and submit as indicated.

Douglas College Print Futures Program

Flying Squad Funding

Langara College Publishing Department

Magazine Intensives

Magazines Canada School for Advertising Sales

Magazines Canada School for Professional Publishing

Monograph Handbook Series

SFU Summer Publishing Workshops

Simon Fraser University Master of Publishing Program

The Capilano University Communications Department: Magazine Publishing Program

The Capilano College Magazine Publishing Certificate is an intensive full-time sixteen-week program in magazine publishing. Starting in early July at Capilano‚Äôs campus in North Vancouver, this program begins with seven weeks of courses that prepare students for a directed internship.
