Capilano University Communications Department: Magazine Publishing Program
The Capilano College Magazine Publishing Certificate is an intensive full-time sixteen-week program in magazine publishing. Starting in early July at Capilano’s campus in North Vancouver, this program begins with seven weeks of courses that prepare students for a directed internship. Planned and taught by experienced magazine industry personnel, the program adopts a practical approach as students learn editorial and layout skills from editors, writers and art directors.
